About this task

This procedure explains how to perform the operation from the Masking Views list view. You can also perform this operation from the vVol Dashboard > PE Masking Views and the vVol Dashboard > vVol NVMe Masking Views list views.

Steps

Select the storage system.
Select Hosts > Masking View to open the Masking Views list view.
Select the masking view from the list and click Rename.
Type the new Name, and click OK.
Masking view names must be unique from other masking views on the array and cannot exceed 64 characters. Only alphanumeric characters, underscores ( _ ), and (-) are allowed. Masking view names are case-insensitive.
